Fellow folk and Americana travelers Molly Venter (Red Molly) and Eben Pariser (Roosevelt Dime) here serve up a most attractive blend of pop and roots, leaning more towards the former, with just enough of the latter to anchor their abundant melodic smarts in solid ground. This mix is clearly transmitted both in Ms. Venter’s fetching feature vocals and nicely blended tandems with Mr. Pariser. Underplayed instrumental backup rounds out a set that just sounds stronger upon repeated listening. Strong airplay candidates include “Work I Done”, “Big Enough” and “Gasoline”.
